Every Preme Costa project follows a structured seven-phase methodology developed over eleven years of practice. Clear milestones, defined deliverables, and transparent billing at each stage ensure you always know where your project stands.
Discovery Call
Complimentary 30-minute video or phone consultation to understand scope, budget range, timeline, and property location. We confirm mutual fit and schedule an on-site visit if proceeding. No fee for this initial conversation.
Site Visit & Brief
Senior designer conducts a 2–3 hour on-site assessment. We document measurements, photograph existing conditions, and discuss lifestyle requirements. A written design brief is delivered within one week. Site visit fee: €185, credited toward project if you engage us.
Concept Design
Mood boards, preliminary space plans, and material direction presented in our Pau Claris studio or via video conference. One revision round included. Concept phase typically invoiced at 25% of total design fee upon contract signing.
Design Development
Detailed drawings, 3D renderings, lighting plans, and full material specifications. Contractor-ready documentation for joinery, tiling, and electrical modifications. Second invoice at 35% of design fee upon approval of this phase.
Procurement
FF&E orders placed with trade suppliers. We manage lead times, customs clearance for imported items, and delivery scheduling. Client receives weekly status updates. Third invoice at 25% of design fee when procurement begins.
Installation
On-site coordination during fit-out week(s). We supervise contractor work against specifications, resolve field conditions, and adjust placement of furniture and accessories. Fourth invoice at 10% upon substantial completion.
Styling & Handover
Final accessorising, art hanging, bed making, and professional photography. You receive a digital project book with all specifications, warranty information, and care instructions. Final 5% invoice upon handover.
